Nutrition Tips

Food, Glorious Food

Being a Professional sportsman and Fitness nutter, nutrition is something i have to think about all the time.
I am very lucky to have girlfriend who is a trained chef, so I have teamed up with her to create some good looking food, easy to recreate recipes,  all healthy and all tasty. For those of you who are even keener, and of the female persuasion, she has her own blog; That covers, food, product reviews etc. http://francescasfitkitchen.blogspot.co.uk/

Of course, not everyone needs to eat like me, nor do they require specific things from their diet like i do. But this being said those of you who work in an office or attend school can still get amazing benefits from sorting your diet out. It's the area that most people struggle with, yet can cause the biggest changes in Health.

Eating well, with a good knowledge of what is healthy, but also tastes good, can help you achieve most of your fitness or health goals . You will find you have more energy, better sleep patterns, healthier skin, and gain or loose wait as you want.

My normal aim is to eat about 5 times, or about 5000 calories a day following this simple plan.

-Breakfast
- Post midmorning work out- Protein shake, Snack.
-Lunch
-Afternoon snack, or post afternoon training
-Dinner.

Of course i don't expect you to Eat 5000 calories a day. However this meal speration, including the snacks , is a good guide to follow, as eating little and often is the basis of any good Nutrition programme.

I will try and take care of most of your general needs by focusing my tips under one of the categories above.

Everything that will be listed can have protein, carbohydrates or fats added or taken away, to them to make them just right for you as an individual. All the recipes have extras hints to make things more healthy.
